Utilization of Product Price Discrimination on the Global Market

The subject of the diploma thesis is to devise and apply an effective method of price discrimination of online educational courses on the market of the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. The author bases these proposals on calculations of purchasing power parity, price level and analysis of local markets in selected countries. Furthermore, the connection of gross domestic product per capita in the standard of purchasing power and other macroeconomic indicators - inflation and unemployment - will be examined. Based on the obtained results, possible ways of price discrimination will be proposed.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in the Czech Republic, especially from the perspective of secondary vocational school students. The theoretical part deals with the use of the course of the pandemic, the impact of pandemic measures on forms of education and the use of digital technologies in teaching before and during the pandemic. The practical part consists of research that, in the form of a questionnaire survey, maps the impact of distance learning on the education of pupils at a selected secondary school. It shows the level of knowledge of pupils and teachers and the preparedness of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. The output of the investigation is recommendations on how to make distance learning more effective during the pandemic.
Comparison of selected educational platforms

The rigorous thesis is an extension of the diploma thesis of the same name and deals with the comparison of selected educational platforms. Its aim is to analyze the selected online platforms and their functions with regard to the possibility of incorporating modern teaching methods in adult education. The theoretical part is based on the literature search and other available sources and defines the concepts related to the issue, which are andragogy, adult education methods and online education. It also presents current trends and goals of education in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The theoretical part concludes with a summary of the important theoretical background from which the research part of the thesis draws. In view of the need for a detailed examination of the selected platforms, a qualitative research strategy and a content analysis method were chosen. An interview method was additionally chosen. The online learning platforms explored were Knowspread, Thinkific, Miro and BigBlueButton. For the purpose of the rigorous analysis, their course design features were characterized and presented. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on teaching techniques and strategies

The impact of the Covid 19 epidemic on instructional methods and practices is examined in the diploma thesis. The thesis seeks to ascertain Covid 19's effect on modifications to learning methods and strategies. The objective is to identify the changes that will take place. Identifying obstacles and figuring out whether teachers are interested in changing their teaching methods. Theoretical material includes searches of relevant literature and other sources. Primarily findings of the Czech School Inspection; judgments and suggestions from the Ministry of Education and Sports are also included. The results of the questionnaire survey are the main topic of the practical section. The quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire among instructors. (specifically, 101 respondents). The output is recommendations on how to incorporate changes into teaching, such as through subsidies, as well as recommendations on how to employ various teaching apps that do not require financial subsidies. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the design and implementation of a web application to support the education of children in primary school. The work includes an analysis of available technologies and possibilities in the field of online education. This is followed by an analysis of the problem to be solved in connection with the choice of technologies. The practical part presents the procedure of implementing the application based on the findings of the analytical part and the method of testing and deployment. The result is a web application designed for the aforementioned purpose. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis contains a critical evaluation of the web application and further suggestions for its extension.

ABSTRACT: Both foreign and Czech literature point out that information and communication technologies are becoming more and more integral part of education. This presented diploma thesis provides basic outline of information and communication technologies and possibilities of their use with respect to English language teaching. This thesis tries to outline effective use of ICT in English language teaching and focuses mainly on electronic communication, the Internet calling and features of blogging. The aim of the thesis is to find out pupils'attitudes towards English language teaching at Secondary Vocational School in Hořovice, their previous experience with electronic communication, their preferred and dispreferred activities during English language teaching and finally their opinion on using the Internet calling and e-mail by means of a questionnaire and data analysis. Possibility of using electronic communication and calling via the Internet in English language teaching is realized as a project.
